- Always stop immediately when partner taps, regardless of reason

- Control takedowns and set partner down gently
- Prohibited: Flying armbars, triangles, jumping guard pulls, etc.
- Use safer, controlled entries from standing positions

- Grab full hand/foot or wrist/ankle
- Be mindful of other groups and mat boundaries
- Adjust techniques or restart if risking collision
